  • Will food be sold at the farm? Yes, our food trailer sells hot dogs and donuts.
  • How does the Gem Mining Sluice work? This is one of our most exciting additions to the farm this year. Gem miners buy a bag of mining sand. We have several different bags available from $5 to $25. Each bag contains a variety of gems and in some bags fossils and a geode. Miners then put their bag of sand into a tray and into the water of the sluice and find their treasures as the sand washes away. Included in the activity is a collection bag for the gems and an identification card to help discover what each gem is. Gem Mining was a huge hit during our private tours and we are sure you’ll love it too. Some of the bigger bags can be shared between several people.
  • Will things be different because of COVID-19? Some things yes, but the farm is big and we have lots of space and fresh air so it makes it a great place to do fun activities. Read about our covid-19 protocols here.
